TIW strives to ensure that every project is completed to a high standard of quality that exceeds our clients specifications. For this reason, we continually improve our practices and seek to use our experience, resources, tools and highly skilled, talented workforce more efficiently to better serve your needs.
From creating customized quality plans that define how each task in a project is performed to hiring certified tradespeople with specific qualifications and only using the best materials and suppliers for fabrication and instruction, we demand perfection from ourselves and those we work with.

We test our products, calibrate our tools and continually improve our processes to ensure they meet our high standards for quality.
In the final stages of any project, we test and inspect every aspect of our products and services to ensure they meet our stringent standards as well as those of our customer. Upon completion of every contract, the Quality Control Manager reviews the final quality records for completeness and accuracy before releasing the finished product to the client.

Quality plans
For every project, we create and follow a customized Quality Plan approved by the client. This plan defines every detail of how a project is completed, from the materials we use to time spent on site, the certified tradespeople we hire and other important details. The shop and field operations are supported by the written procedures, work instructions, detailed drawings and specifications produced by our Engineering Services Department.
Expectations
Our in-house quality control supervisor ensures quality control plans are followed to the letter and works with our clients’ quality control staff where applicable, while our supervisors in the field are trained to understand our Quality Control requirements for their assigned responsibilities.

TIW Steel Platework Inc. is certified to ISO 9001:2015, a standard that specifies the requirements for a Quality Management System. This system helps businesses and organizations improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Standards are regularly revised and reviewed to ensure they remain relevant to today’s marketplace.
Based on the concept of continual improvement, ISO 9001 requires organizations to define objectives relating to quality and how it can meet the needs of its customers and other stakeholders. TIW personnel drive the policies, procedures and work instructions that allow us to conduct business efficiently and effectively.

Scope of Certification
TIW holds certificate No: FM 63043 and operates a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for the following Scope: Design, fabrication and erection of steel platework (and associated) structures for various industries.
